Projet réalisé à l'Isia Urbino/Werkplaats Typografie Summerschool 2009
à Urbino, Italie. Cette idée a vu le jour suite à une discussion avec
Armand Mevis sur la difficulté d'intéresser et de sensibiliser le grand public
au graphisme. Comment trouver un moyen de faire réagir la population locale et les touristes d'Urbino à propos de la Summerschool ? Peut-être
en s'inspirant directement des magnifiques annonces mortuaires collées
à même les murs le long des rues de la ville.
Après observation de ces annonces, furent conçues trois bannières
annoncant la naissance de la Summerschool, de 32 projets graphiques
ainsi que de jumeaux, l'Isia Urbino et la Werkplaats Typografie.

#1: "Diamo il benvenuto ad un prezioso dono giuntoci dall'alto dei cieli. Dio ha glorificato la famiglia Isia Urbino & Werkplaats Typografie con l'avvento della SUMMERSCHOOL, pesa circa 36 designers e più di 32 progetti."
#2: "Per dieci giorni, abbiamo avuto l'occasione di ospitare 36 designer da tutto il mundo i quali hanno dato vita a, 32 PROGETTI, ognuno dei quali, sembra essere di sana e robusta costituzione."
#3: "Siamo entrambi felici di annunciarvi la nascita dei nostri due gemelli, ISIA Urbino & WERKPLAATS Typografie, che donneranno gioia e felicità alla Summerschool di Urbino."
Project realized at the Isia Urbino/Werkplaats Typografie Summerschool 2009 in Urbino, Italy. This idea was born during a discussion with Armand Mevis about the difficulty to sensibilise the general public to graphic design.
How to find a mean to make the local population and the tourists of Urbino react about the creation of this Summerschool ? Maybe, by being directly inspired by these amazing and beautiful mortuary announcements stuck straight to the city's walls along the streets.
After observing these announcements, I draw three banners announcing
the birth of Summerschool, 32 graphic design projects as well as twins,
Isia Urbino and Werkplaats Typografie.

#1: "Our hearts are full of joy as we announce the arrival of our SUMMERSCHOOL, a true miracle, a gift from above, born on the 27th of july,
at 9:00am, weigthing as much as 36 designers and up top 32 projects."
#2: "During 10 days, we have been blessed with 36 graphic designers from 10 different countries, who proudly gave birth to, 32 PROJECTS, all of them are feeling well and look to expand."
#3: "We are all two happy to announce the birth of our twins, ISIA Urbino
& WERKPLAATS Typografie, bringing joy to our sweet and beautiful summerschool in urbino."
